These terms cover your use of Chore Chart Maker at chorechartmaker.com (the "site"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Using the site
The site is free to use for personal, family, classroom and other non-commercial purposes. You don't need an account. Please don't misuse it: don't try to break, overload or interfere with the site, and don't use it for anything unlawful.
Your charts
The text you put on a chart belongs to you, and it stays on your device (see our privacy policy). You may print, save, copy and share the charts you make, including for use with your kids, students or household, at no cost.
You may not resell the site's themes, templates or artwork as your own product, or present the site's charts as a paid template pack. If you're unsure whether a use is allowed, ask us.
Our content and third-party assets
The site's design, code, themes and written guides belong to Chore Chart Maker. Chart icons are Microsoft Fluent Emoji, used under the MIT License, and the Nunito font is used under the SIL Open Font License; their licenses also apply to those assets. See our About page for credits.
Chore suggestions
Chores and age suggestions on the site are general ideas, not professional advice. Every child is different. You know your kids best, so choose tasks that suit them and supervise anything involving heat, sharp objects, chemicals or heavy items.
Share links
Anyone with a share link can see the chart it contains. You're responsible for who you share links with.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise it will always be available or error-free, or that charts saved in your browser will never be lost. Keep a PDF or printed copy of charts you care about.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Chore Chart Maker and its maker are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the site. Because the site is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to US $50.
Changes
We may update the site or these terms from time to time. When we change the terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
